If you are upgrading from Buddy Groups Lite (BG Lite) to the full version of Buddy Groups, you may want to migrate all your contact groups and galleries from BG Lite to Buddy Groups. Here are the steps to migrate your data:

Step 1: Install Buddy Groups

Navigate to http://www.itunes.com/apps/buddygroups

Download and install the full version of Buddy Groups.

Step 2: Launch Buddy Groups Lite

Now launch Buddy Groups Lite. 

Note: We are NOT launching the full version right now. We are launching the Lite version.

Step 3: Tap “Migrate”

In the upper left corner of the start screen, you will see a button labeled “Migrate.” Tap on this button to begin the process of migrating data.

Step 4: Setup once and let it be!

Buddy Groups Lite will automatically call the full version of Buddy Groups, at which point you will be given options to: Migrate everything, migrate contact groups only, migrate galleries only, or cancel the data migration process. Select the option you desire and let the application do it’s work! You will be notified when the migration is complete.

Step 5: Relax and Enjoy!

The image on the left is a screenshot of what you might see when you launch Buddy Groups Lite.

The image above is a zoomed-in display of the title bar. Notice the “Migrate” button on the left. This is what you want to tap to begin the data migration process.

Note: The “Migrate” button only shows up in the Lite version of Buddy Groups because it is not necessary in the full version of Buddy Groups.
